Biography
Annabelle Parrish (b. 2001, Nashville, TN) is a painter based in Brooklyn, NY. Her work recounts her early exposure to intense imagery through family field trips to true crime locations, film noir, and haunting polaroids from her photojournalist grandfather. The casual nature of these experiences in her upbringing pushes a theatrical and playful tone within the work. She received her BFA in Painting from the Savannah College of Art and Design and has been included in numerous exhibitions such as Untitled Summer at Chelsea Walls Gallery in New York, NY (2024) and Little Things at Swan Coach House Gallery in Atlanta, GA (2024,) among others.
